The Local Area

Clynfyw is eight miles from the Cardigan Bay coastline and its beautiful beaches.

We are five miles from Newcastle Emlyn and eight from Cardigan, both bustling market towns where all the essentials can be bought and post offices, restaurants and pubs can be found.

There are two country pubs that serve food within a 10-minute walk of Clynfyw, (Nags Head, Abercych--841200, Ffynone Arms, Newchapel--841800). It can take longer getting back again.

The area is home to a number of great natural attractions including Cenarth falls (two miles), the Preseli Mountains (five miles) and the Pembrokeshire coastal path (nine miles).

We are fortunate to have many excellent local food producers and retailers in the close locality. Many are personal friends of ours and we would encourage you to use them and revel in the 'local experience'.

This is not a comprehensive list. If you find someone you think should be added, please let us know.
